The first vintage of this wine picked from the Hawke’s Bay high country was a sell out success. Our second vintage is another stylish cool climate Pinot Gris with lovely fruit, acidity and structure. This luscious wine has a gentle floral appeal on the nose, flowing into flavours of pear and quince with a touch of oiliness and a rich texture, finishing with a crisp clean dry finish.

This wine is picked from vineyards in the Hawke’s Bay high country of New Zealand. The soils are ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams.
Vertical shoot positioned trellis was used with two canes pruned providing an average of 11 tonnes per acre. Cool fermented with aging and stirring on lees.
A warm summer provided stunning flavours and structure.
This wine is delicious on its own, or with semi-hard cheeses, chicken dishes, and spicy Thai numbers.
